Video Demo: MCU Middleware Using Freescale Kinetis

Product manager David Steele demonstrates digital voice and management middleware solutions for microcontrollers using Freescale Kinetis K60 ARM Cortex M4 MCU and the Tower Development System. The demonstration shows how you can use the middleware to create basic push-to-call devices. The demo also shows the capabilities of the management middleware which abstracts operation and management of the MCU into a light-weight protocol called the “device virtualization service”. This demonstration shows how you can use the middleware to support feature rich GUI control and management applications for PC or mobile platforms. David uses an iPad to demonstrate how to control and operate the Kinetis MCU and integrate other network elements such as an IP camera into overall system workflow.
